Thickened Endometrial Lining Definition and Symptoms
Thickened endometrial lining is a thickening of the lining of the uterus which is in response to estrogen stimulation. This is most common in pre-menopausal women and women with irregular periods. Symptoms include heavy menstrual bleeding, pain during sexual intercourse, amenorrhea, periods that last longer than usual, and vaginal bleeding in between periods or after menopause.
