Steve Jobs personality traits is a concept that is well worth studying. When you consider what the man achieved in his lifetime, and when you keep in mind what he left behind, you’re clearly looking at a personality that was driven to succeed.

No one is saying that you have to become the next Steve Jobs. The man behind Apple was successful because he forged his own path. You are going to have to do the same. However, there is nothing at all wrong with looking at the personality traits of Steve Jobs, and looking for ways in which you can improve your own approach to work and life itself.

The Personality Traits Of Steve Jobs

Over the course of the life of Steve Jobs, the inventor and entrepreneur clearly displayed the traits that make up the whole of his personality. While it demands repeating that no one should try to copy Jobs to the letter, it is also important to remember that there is nothing at all wrong with looking at the life and career of Steve Jobs, and taking life lessons from his accomplishments.

These are some of the most significant personality traits of Steve Jobs:

1. A clear, powerful vision.
Ultimately, the legacy of Steve Jobs is the story of a man who wanted to establish clear control over both the hardware and software experience of the user. Wouldn’t you say he succeeded with his Apple products?

2. Powerful leadership to back up that vision.
Jobs knew what he wanted, and he knew how to bring people together to believe in him, believe in his vision, and break their backs trying to bring that vision to life.

3. He loved a show.
Jobs understood that a great product just wasn’t enough, particularly when he was trying to turn the world on to his approach to hardware and software. One of the reasons why Jobs became one of the most successful entrepreneurs of all time was because he didn’t just show you a gadget. He wrapped that gadget up in some considerable flash. That is to say that he would put on a great show with plenty of fireworks, but that show never lacked a legitimate core.

4. He knew how to win people over.
Jobs wasn’t just a guy who sat in a dark room alone. He knew how to be charming, and how to engage the people he needed.

5. He was tough.
He battled cancer and shifting public views from start to finish.
