This excludes respiratory distress: following trauma and surgery (518.52), newborn (770.89) and adult (518.52). This applies to respiratory: distress and insufficiency.

Snoring Definition and Symptoms

Snoring is when there is a loud, harsh breathing sound that occurs when a person is sleeping. The most common causes of this are being overweight, swelling of tissues in the airway, and blockage in the nose. Symptoms include dry mouth when waking up and sore throat when waking.
