Lung Nodule Definition and Symptoms
Lung nodules are tumors that are found in the lungs accidentally through an x ray. These nodules can be benign or malignant and are most commonly caused by granulomas, hamartomas, and lung cancer. Symptoms are usually not present but in the rare cases they are they are coughing up blood and chest pains.
