Hydrocele Definition and Symptoms
A hydrocele is a fluid filled sac near the testicle that causes swelling of the scrotum. They are most common in newborns and usually go away with no treatment. Symptoms that may occur are enlargement of the scrotum, pain and swelling in the scrotum or a feeling of pressure at the base of the penis.
