Just remember that you do not want the water to be so hot that you will be burned by your compress.
Watery Eye Tips
-If your eyes continue to remain irritated and very watery, you may want to consult with a doctor.
-If immense swelling or bruising occurs, you will want to seek immediate help.
-Never rub one eye and rub the other eye that is not watery. This can transmit infections from an infected eye to a non-infected eye making matters worse.
-Try all of the above remedies as they will all provide their own level of relief.
-If you wear contacts, discontinue wearing them until the problem goes away. Ideally, you will replace your current pair of contacts after your eye problem has stopped.
-Keep tissues with you in your pocket or purse so that you can dab away any tears that occur.
Normally, your watery eyes will go away in just a few days. If your eyes continue to water, you may need the help of an eye doctor.
