For most men, ingrown hair can occur in the chin, cheeks and neck while in women, this hair can grow in their legs, armpits and pubic area. Though the condition should not be taken seriously as a medical condition, there are still many people who are thinking about how they can get rid of the ingrown hair and just look for home remedies for ingrown hair.

Oftentimes, ingrown hair would go away as time passes by but if it does not go away easily, it can be infected and would leave dark skin or leave behind any scar. These cases are possible especially when you are always picking at it or scratching it whenever it is itching. If you are going to get the help of an expert, your doctor would make a certain cut in the area where the hair is seen with the use o a sterile scalpel or needle for releasing it. After that, your doctor may even prescribe you medicines that would help in decreasing the swelling and preventing infection from affecting it.

For clearing dead skin cells on the surface of your skin, you can make a homemade scrub with the use of baking soda. All you need is a teaspoon of each baking soda, ground oatmeal and mixing it with a tablespoon of water. Creating a paste, apply it on the skin, leave it to sit on the skin, rinse and then pat dry the area.
