Home Remedies For Clogged Pores

It’s quite normal if you will hear people complaining about acnes, blackheads and whiteheads. Don’t you know that one of the reasons of that common issue is clogged pores? Yes, that is true because aside from bacteria, the clogged pores can trap the sebum oil that usually passes through your pores. Therefore, when bacteria reached the trapped sebum oil, they then became your biggest problem. If facial wash and facial creams could still not address the issue. There are other viable options that you can take in order to get rid of your clogged pores.

What Can you do About Clogged Pores?

Actually, you can manage to deal with this issue by washing your face regularly with warm and clean water and dry it with a clean washcloth. The main reasons of clogging the pores are the dead skin cells that block the opening of the pores. Because of it, the sebum oil that should have to be secreted on the surface of your skin to moisturize and to protect it from dirt became trapped inside. When this happened, the oily substances fill the pores in a form of a pus-like thing that is called whiteheads.

When the whiteheads were reached by the bacteria, it will then be developed and became blackheads.
Blackheads are harder than whiteheads as they can grow larger causing the pores to enlarge. Though you can remove blackheads manually, it will then leave you with a larger pore that is prone for clogging again. So, what are the home remedies that you can do to address this embarrassing issue?

Watch your Diet – This factor is one of the most important on how to address the problem. Before, people think that the main reason of acne and pore clogging are the greasy and oily foods. However, based on studies, the main reason of this is taking those foods that are rich in sugar and carbohydrates. The best foods to eat to reduce the production of sebum oil that clogs the pores are those foods that are low on glycemic content and those foods that are rich in protein. These kinds of foods not only prevent the clogging of pores but it can also help tone your muscles and get rid of modern lifestyle diseases.

Stay adequately hydrated – adequate hydration not only gives you a healthy skin but it helps you maintain your overall health as well. Drinking lots of water can naturally flush-out chemicals and toxins in your body. If your body will not flush out these toxins, the tendency is that the problems will show up in your skin.

Hygiene – As mentioned above, by simply washing your face on a regular basis, you can actually get rid of clogged pores. Bacteria worsen the problem when they get in contact with the trapped sebum oil inside your pores so better not to let them. Be watchful in using facial creams as well. Don’t just apply anything that you can get in supermarkets out there. Consult a dermatologist first because every person has unique body chemistry. So just to make sure, you have to consult the experts to avoid future possible issues.
