Narcissistic Personality Disorder is a personality disorder in which a person becomes obsessed with money, power, and control. It causes them to be unable to empathize and care about anything else. Many people throughout history have had this type of personality disorder, which shaped the events that they provoked and the things that they caused.
1. Adolph Hitler
Hitler is one of the most known men in history This person was known before as a very effective yet an evil leader who doesn’t consider the feelings and desires of other people. Adolph Hitler is a prime example of this disorder. He wanted everyone on the planet to be the “perfect” race of people, with characteristics that he chose. He manipulated and lied to entire countries and slaughtered millions of innocent people for his own agenda.
2. Joseph Stalin
Joseph Stalin was the general secretary of Russia who opposed the Bolshevik revolutionaries during the Russian revolution of 1917. This guy was responsible for the total elimination of political opposition in Russia. When this man was still alive and governing Russia, those people who refused in all of the requests and laws of the government were sent in Gulags and jails. Stalin was one of the scariest leaders of Russia in the past. This guy exhibited great desire for power and vanity over the rights of the Russian people. This guy was responsible for the death of Leon Trotsky who was considered as a very big threat and a powerful enemy against him as a general secretary.
3. Joseph Mengele
Joseph Mengele is a former SS officer in Germany. Mengele was suspected to have Narcissistic Personality Disorder because of the immoral acts committed by him during the time of Adolph Hitler. He was referred to as the “Angel of Death” during this time. Mengele is heartless and merciless. He was known before as a very notorious person who seeks more power by killing innocent children and adults who belong to the group of Jewish people. Mengele stayed in the camp doctors in the remaining time of his life. In the camp doctors, this physician killed a lot of newly born Jewish babies and detained Jewish patients into the pressure chambers. Only death was the best solution for the Jewish people before in order to escape from the brutal acts of Joseph Mengele.
These famous people did their part in leading their own nation. However, due to their Narcissistic Personality Disorder, the lives of their countrymen were wasted and many people suffered from their unfair governance.
