1. Bobby Clarke
Bobby Clarke or Bob is a famous and a former Canadian ice hockey center. He spent his 15 years in playing this kind of sport. He was a member of the National Hockey League and Philadelphia Flyers. He became the captain of the Philadelphia Flyers from the year 1973 until 1979. His team gained the Stanley Cup in 1947 and 1975 which made them even more popular around the world. He also became the captain of an ice hockey team for the second time from the year 1982 to 1984. Aside from that, he was the 3-time Hart Trophy winner and the inductee of Hockey Hall of Fame in 1987.
When Bobby was only 13 years old, he was diagnosed to have an endocrine disorder. He suffered from diabetes and it was at the first stage when he was diagnosed. Due to the treatment that he takes, he recovered from that disease then he started his career and he became one of the famous and impressive ice hockey players.
2. Mary Tyler Moore
She is an American actress and she became more popular as she appeared in some television sitcoms. However, her acting career boosted when she played the main character of Mar Tyler Moore Show. This show started in 1970 and it ended in 1977. She was born in December 29, 1936 and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She studied and graduated in Immaculate Heart High School. Due to her remarkable talent, people from different countries worldwide recognized and admired her.
At the age of 33, Mary Tyler was diagnosed that she has diabetes which is a type of endocrine disorders. Her suffered from stage 1 diabetes but her condition get worse into severe until she suffered from persistent infection in her foot.
3. Halle Maria Berry
Halle Berry is a former fashion model and American actress. She was born and raised in August 14, 1966 in Cleveland, Ohio, United States. She studied at Bedford High School and took her college degree in Cuyahoga Community College. In 2002, she won the Academy Awards for Best Actress in the movie “Monster’s Ball”. She is also one of the highly paid actresses. Halle is included in the spokes model of Revlon.
At the age of 21, Halle was discovered to have an endocrine disorder. At a young age, she decided to undergo several treatments just to get rid of his health condition. She tried the safest and most efficient treatment to have an immediate recovery from it.
4. Ron Santo
He was the third American basemen in the Main League Baseball since the year 1960 to 1974. He was one of the famous baseball players who gained lots of rewards due to his remarkable abilities in playing baseball. After his retirement, he suffered from an endocrine disorder and several health illnesses. Due to these illnesses, he took lots of medicines regularly just to relieve the signs and symptoms of it. Until now, he still takes the required medicines to keep his body strong and healthy.
