1. Dudley Moore
Dudley Moore is an actor, musician, and comedian who was born with clubfoot. It had been mostly hidden to the public since he used to wear a shoe having slightly larger sole in order compensate it when walking.
2. Charles Woodson
Woodson is the NFL Cornerback who was also born with severe clubfoot. He played in Super Bowl XXXVII as he went to University of Michigan to receive his Heisman Award. He played the Super Bowl XXXVII along with Oakland Riders. He was also a winner of Super Bowl XLV along with Green Bay Packers.
3. Kristi Yamaguchi
Yamaguchi is a figure skater who was born with clubbed foot. Despite the condition, she went on and won gold medals at World championships AND Winter Olympics in 1992.
4. Mia Hamm
Mia has been a soccer player who had clubfoot as well. During the 1996 Olympics and 2004 Olympics, she won gold along with the USA team.
5. Jim Mecir
Mecir has been a baseball pitcher who enjoyed successful and long careers despite of the fact that he had clubfoot. It had been indicated in Moneyball book that the club foot of Mecir had contributed to the success he acquired in his career. This eventually made him adopt the strange delivery which “placed a special violent spin” on the screwball, which was Mecir’s specialty pitch.
6. Freddy Sanchez
One of the infielders of San Francisco Giants, Freddy Sanchez cited his ability of overcoming this defect as the main reason for the success he has been receiving.
7. Tom Dempsey
Dempsey is a member of New Orleans Saints who was also born with club foot on the right one and it does not have toes (this serves as the kicking foot of Dempsey). He was able to kick the NFL record of 63-yard field goal (58 meters). That kick became extremely popular as the longest field goal in the history of NFL.
8. Troy Aikman
Troy Aikman was the former NFL quarterback. He was able to fight against his condition of having clubfoot. He actually enjoyed the productive career in the Hall of Fame with three Super Bowl Rings in Super Bowl XXX, Super Bowl XXVII, and Super Bowl XXVII.
9. Michael Houser
Despite his club foot, Michael Houser won the Red Tilson Trophy and recognized as most outstanding player in 2011 to 2012 in OHL. He was actually the London Knights goaltender of Ontario Hockey League. In July 2012, he had been signed by Florida Panthers of National Hockey League.
10. Arthur Seyss-Inquart
Arthur Seyss-Inquart is another famous person who had clubbed foot. He has been a government official in Austria, Netherlands, and Poland. He lived a life with club foot and still limped on it after arriving at gallows. On the 16th of October 1946, he had been hanged to be the last The Nuremberg Trials condemned prisoner.
11. De Witt Clinton Fort
De Witt Clinton Fort is serving as the captain in Confederate Army. She had been suffering from clubfoot. However, despite his condition, he still became a successful person. For this reason, he has been regarded as Captain “Clubfoot” Fort, C.S.A. in the American Civil War.
