ETOH withdrawal, also known as alcohol withdrawal, refers to any symptoms that may occur when a person who usually consumes an excessive amount of alcohol stops consuming it. Symptoms of alcohol withdrawal are anxiety, headache, nausea/vomiting, insomnia, shaking hands, and sweating.
