Esophageal Stricture Definition and Symptoms
Esophageal stricture is a narrowing of the esophagus which makes it hard to swallow. This is usually caused by scarring from acid irritation. Symptoms include difficulty swallowing, unintended weight loss, painful swallowing, regurgitation of food or liquids, and heartburn.
