Eating Disorder Definition and Symptoms
An eating disorder is a group of issues where a person is intently focused on their weight and food intake. Anorexia and bulimia are the two main eating disorders and each have their own sub categories with slight variations of symptoms. Some of the symptoms that a person with an eating disorder may exhibit are dehydration, irregular heartbeat, constant dieting, refusal to eat, denial of hunger, constipation, abdominal pain, dry skin, low blood pressure, trouble sleeping, a fragile and thin appearance, negative self image, a lack of emotion, fatigue, trouble sleeping, and frequently being cold.
