Coccydynia Definition and Symptoms
Coccydynia is pain that occurs in or around the tail bone (coccyx). This pain can be caused by trauma due to a fall, vaginal childbirth, degenerative joint disorders, and prolonged sitting. Symptoms include deep aches, shooting pain down the legs, pain during bowel movements, and sensitivity to finger pressure on the edges of coccyx.
