Blurred Vision Definition and Symptoms

Blurred vision is when a persons vision becomes less sharp than usual and they become unable to see fine details. Some of the most common causes of blurred vision are refractive eye conditions, myopia, migraines, cataracts, and dirty or damaged contact lenses. Symptoms that can be associated with blurred vision include sensitivity to light, tunnel vision, bloodshot eyes, itchy eyes, loss of central vision, discharge from the eye, eye pain, spots in vision, and loss of peripheral vision.
