Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy Definition and Symptoms
Benign prostatic hypertrophy is the enlargement of the prostate gland that is not cancerous. Though it is not cancerous it may cause problems relating to urination. Some symptoms include difficulty in starting urine stream, decreased strength of urine flow, waking at night to urinate, pain during urination, and a sudden, uncontrollable urge to urinate.
