Arthropathy Definition and Symptoms
Arthropathy is a condition where a joint deteriorates due to nerve damage. This is most often a complication of diabetes. Symptoms include numbness in the affected joints, high foot arches, decreased mobility, curled toes, swelling, tingling in the affected joint, frequent tripping, and a higher than normal gait (step).
