You need to take more amounts of vitamin C for this will help in healing as well as in making the discomfort duration shorter. You can either take this in the supplement form or you can eat more citrus fruits rich in this vitamin like lemon and oranges.

Avoid Conditions and Foods That Can Aggravate and Irritate Post Nasal Drip
You have to avoid spicy and cold foods for this can increase mucus production which will then increase the post natal drip symptoms. Also, avoid the cold environments and you have to be familiar with those allergens which are the cause of the symptoms, including smog and smoke.

Other Tips

Aside from the mentioned home remedies for post nasal drip, you can also try to massage the nasal pressure points located on the side of your nose in a repeated circular motion as this will help in relieving the condition.

One more great natural remedy that can work effectively is through removing any excess mucus and this can be done by blowing it. Make sure that you follow the right way of blowing your nose, with your mouth opened as you blow out the mucus from your nose. It can help in preventing ear damage that can result from increased pressure.
