James Farrell is one of the most of popular and best foreign actors in Hollywood. He was born in May 31, 1976 in Dublin, Ireland. He is the son of Eamon and Rita Farrell. Actually, his father was a former football player and member of the team Shamrock Rovers. After he retired in this sport, he decided to build and ran a health food shop. He was raised as a Roman Catholic. They were 6 in their family. He has an older brother and 2 sisters. The name of his older brother is Eamon Jr while her sisters are Catherine and Claudine. When he was 10 years old, his family moved to Castle knock. He started to study in St. Brigid’s National School and finished his college studies in Castle Knock College and Gormanston College.
When he fails to qualified in the audition of Boyzone, he started to do acting. He actually started practicing his talent in acting in the movie “The Extra Terrestrial”. But, this movie moved him into tears. Due to this experience, he was encouraged by his brother to attend the acting workshop offered by the Gaiety School of Acting. With the help of this school, he successfully got the character of Danny Byrne in the television series Ballykissangel.

He got married to Amelia Warner. But, there are rumors that their wedding is not legal because they get married at a young age. Actually, they did not have a wedding ceremony; they only have a holiday vacation in Tahiti. After this, he had been into a relationship with Kim Bordenave, an American model and they had a child. His son was named James.
In 2007, October he was so sad to know that his son James is suffering from a health condition called Angelman Syndrome. It really breaks the heart of the actor. This is a healthy condition that usually appears until a person gets old. This is a rate of genetic health disorder that has been featured through a developmental and intellectual delay, lack or happiness and speech, as well as an excitable manner.
His son was actually nine years old when he suffered from this health condition. Colin stated that they have shared the smallest conquest. It was the words that his son said while he was at the age of 6 or 7. When he reached the age of 19, he gained the ability to feed himself but he usually experience seizures even though he takes his medicines regularly. When he was at the age of 4, his son started to walk and this was the situation that nearly broke him.
