Preterm Labor Definition and Symptoms
Preterm labor is when contractions begin to open the cervix before 37 weeks of pregnancy. The earlier a baby is born the more health risks the baby has. Symptoms of preterm labor include diarrhea, vaginal spotting, watery vaginal discharge, abdominal cramps, contractions, a sensation of pelvic pressure, and a constant back ache.
