It is very usual for people to drink during parties or when they want to escape from depression temporarily. Drink and enjoy as long as you want it. But think of it that you will also pay the consequence after and that is to suffer from hangover. Dizziness, pounding headache, vomiting, muscle aches, sensitivity to sound and light and bad temper are some characteristics of suffering from alcoholic hangovers.

Although alcohol is very common to have during your good times, it is in fact a kind of drug. It is a depressant and abused use of it will fill up your body with the unwanted toxins. This will result in an overdose situation and will require you to metabolize in order to eliminate aberrant substances.

The best method to avoid suffering from hangover is obviously by moderation and refraining from drinking alcohol. But if you can’t take it not to drink from time to time, make sure that your body is well-hydrated in order to minimize the bad effects of hangovers.

  • Bananas are your knighting shining armor against hangovers. If you are drunk and used to pee like a chase horse, your body needs lots of potassium. Peeling and eating bananas will give you a burst of potassium.
  • You may also take in 2 tablespoons of honey or any drink mixed with 2 tablespoons of sugar since your body is suffering from sugar shock. The alcohol that you drunk turned into sugar as it reaches your bloodstream and several hours after it may cause your body to be shocked.
  • Other people can take 5 hours of energizing, eat their breakfast and take a cold shower to be able to get away from hangover.

  • Drinking peppermint tea can also help you be hydrated if you are having an upset stomach and unfavorable nausea. After drinking, take a nap and upon waking up, you will feel relieved and refreshed.
  • One more way is to have two rare eggs mixed with a small amount of pepper and salt. This is a very practical way of getting rid of hangover.

  • Have some exposure to sun, but make sure that you will not get dehydrated.
  • Avoid coffee and other drinks that may dehydrate you.
  • It is weird, but for few people, they find it effective to drink the same type of beverage in order to stop the bad results of alcohol drinking.
