1. Clay Marzo
Clay Marzo is a professional surfer who became more popular due to his doubled jointed technique of spins and turns. He was born and raised in July 17, 1989 in San Diego, United States. He also grew in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii. He was renowned for his innovation and his creativity in surfing when he was still young. So, he was asked to appear in various films.
In December 2007, he was diagnosed to have a high functioning autism or Asperger syndrome. Due to the unconventional condition of this health, the people around him misunderstood him. This was the reason why he did not go to school and lost his connection with his sponsors and fans. Aside from that, he didn’t join to some surfing competition since that time. He became a volunteer member of the Surfer’s Healing (non-profit organization). This association usually brings the children with autism in a surfing camp in the Canada and United States.
2. Dan Aykroyd
Daniel Edward Aykroyd is a Canadian singer, actor, screenwriter, and comedian. He was one of the original members of Saturday Night Life and he was the inventor of Ghostbusters and The Blues Brothers. Since he was a talented one, his career as screenwriter and actor lasts for years.
Dan stated in an interview that he suffered from a type of mild autism which is the high functioning autism. He treated it continuously until he survived from it. He has well-trusted and knowledgeable doctors who helped him fight his condition. As he grew older, he began taking several medicines for various diseases that he acquired.
3. Adam Young
Adam Young is the founder and producer of the band Owl City. He is also a singer, multi-instrumentalist, musician, and a songwriter. There are times that he fronted some musical projects like swimming with Dolphins and Sky Sailing. Due to the impressive songs he wrote, he became more familiar to more individuals and some of his fans searched for more information about him.
He actually lives in Owatonna, Minnesota which he recognizes as his hometown. In this place, he writes and programs his entire music. Adam stated that he has a high functioning autism and that is why he became socially introverted and is very shy. Aside from song writing, he also likes photography. There are times that he considers himself as an amateur photographer.
4. Adrian Lamo
He was born and raised in 20 February 1981, in Boston, Massachusetts. He is a former hacker and an American threat analyst. He gained the attention of media due to the high profile computer networks like Microsoft, Yahoo, and The New York Times. In the Weird Article that was published in May 2010, an officer stated that he was having an unusual behavior. Then, he was diagnosed with high functioning autism. It started to happen after he undergone a 72-hours involuntary psychiatric hold and this was extended for about 9 years. After this, his condition was not perfectly cured due to the threats that he received when he turned to Manning.
