5 Important Facts About Hypertension

Hypertension is the official term for blood pressure that is higher than normal. It’s one of the most common medical issues that is faced today. Effective meditation occurs in a quiet environment, includes deep breaths, and requires the mind to focus away from the troubles of the day. Just one 20 minute session of meditation every day for 4 consecutive days is enough to start seeing some real health gains in people.

4. Three key supplements could reduce blood pressure.

People who aren’t getting enough magnesium, calcium, and potassium in their diet may develop high blood pressure over time. A healthy diet is usually enough to get what people need, but sometimes a little extra help is needed. Taking too much magnesium can cause digestive tract issues, while taking calcium tablets alone have not been proven to be an effective prevention for high blood pressure. The best result? Men should not have more than two drinks per day to avoid having hypertension, while many women are restricted to just one alcoholic beverage daily. Not drinking at all, in fact, may be better for your health in these circumstances if there are struggles with controlling hypertension.
