Langerhans cell histiocytosis is a very rare disease that begins in the LCH cells and causes them to multiply very quickly. This rapid buildup causes tissue damage and lesions to form on parts of the body. Symptoms includes anemia, diabetes, ear pain, low-grade fever, enlarged liver, fractures, localized pain, and recurring ear infections.
